Formerly “City Park Golf Course,” this 18-hole course was originally designed by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1932 for the City of Pueblo, CO. The course was recently renovated and Aqua Engineering was contracted to provide a complete irrigation system renovation of the 27-hole 170-acre course. Tall trees line most of the fairways making this a picturesque course to experience the game and provide an avenue by which to appreciate Colorado foliage.

The irrigation and pumping system construction documents were created on an aerial image rectified by our engineers. The systems include approximately 2,400 valve-in-head sprinklers and a 3,000 GPM vertical turbine VFD pump station and fertilization system. The course is irrigated with raw water from an on-site pond, resulting in both cost and water savings for the City of Pueblo. Other services provided on this project include:
  • Field Staking
  • Construction observation
  • GPS-mapped record drawings
  • Central control programming services
Our engineers also integrated the site image and record drawings into the irrigation central control system.
