![]() | Elaine Bustos joined Aqua Engineering in 2004 as General Manager and was made a partner in January of 2006. Her broad role includes financial analysis and reporting, facilitation and implementation of the strategic plan, overall coordination of firm marketing activities, human resources, risk management, supervision of the administrative and accounting staff, and providing direction on day to day management issues. As a member of the firm’s ownership team, Elaine contributes to the leadership of the company and collaborates with other committee members to offer business decisions and recommendations to partners related to company operating procedures and policy. Elaine has worked extensively in general and financial management in a variety of firms, both large and small. She brings eleven years of experience from a prior AE consulting firm and has a solid understanding of the intricacies of the industry. Her financial skills were further honed in large manufacturing environments, where her management of separate business units paralleled the management strategy of small firms. She stays current with management philosophies via training with industry related organizations such as PSMJ and Zweig White, and also enlists resources such as the Mountain States Employers Council and Harvard Business Review for leading-edge management standards and techniques. Elaine has recently begun training specific to facilitating consensus workshops, action planning and strategic planning. |
