Darren Salvador has over 18 years of irrigation and pumping system engineering experience. Prior to joining Aqua Engineering in 1992, Darren provided data acquisition and analysis for the US Department of Agriculture, and assisted in management and operations of his family farm in Yuma, Colorado. In 2001, Darren became a partner of Aqua Engineering and contributed to the management of the firm. In 2009, Darren was named Vice President and is currently responsible for managing the firm’s water resources market.

In addition to his irrigation design expertise, Darren is also experienced in hydraulic analysis, irrigation scheduling, central control system programming, and pump station mechanical engineering. He is experienced in all phases of project development, from master planning through construction observation. Darren’s technical acumen has led him to the internal role of Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinator, and has made him a go-to reference both internally and externally.

Darren has provided expertise in Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, and has also completed projects in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
